We are proud to announce that lab members Taylor Dunn and Megan Helms have finished their undergraduate careers at the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Taylor has graduated with University Honors, earning a degree in Biology with an emphasis on genetics and biotechnology. This year she will be coordinating a new research study to define the structure and function relationship in albinism, with hopes to attend a graduate program for Genetic Counseling next fall. Megan graduated in the top 2% of her class, with highest distinction and University honors. She was also a Grand Challenge Scholar, a national distinction for engineers, in the category "Engineer Better Medicine". This summer, she will be working at the Drack lab and preparing for medical school, either at the University of Illinois Chicago or at the University of Iowa. We are very proud of Taylor and Megan, and we look forward to seeing them do great things!
